www!.moonfruit!.com is the best one I've ever come across that is free (there are paid options as well but just select the one that is with ads) - there are loooads of design options and stuff, once you get your head around it you can make it look however you want, and you don't need to have any html knowledge at all!.

Another good site for showing off your artwork and poetry and anything like that is www!.deviantart!.com - this doesn't let you build a website but it lets you build a profile page and people will be able to see and find your work - you could always do both and then link to deviant art from your web page and vice versa!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

www!.piczo!.com is always a good one, though if you want to be more known I'd try www!.deviantart!.com!. You register for an account and basically submit your works and people are able to give you feedback :] Poetry, art all accepted as long as you are the creator!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
