Question: Louvre Pic Good or Bad Photo!?

Hmm, I'd say it's pretty generic!. It's really grey, and there's not much variation in value!. The pyramid is off center and at a slight angle which skews it!. If you lined it up central, I think this would look a lot better!. Such a flat angle, too, makes this seem more like a snapshot than an actual photograph!.

The people don't help with the photographic element, either!. I don't think there's much you could do about that, though!.

I suppose if you cropped this, it might look better!. The edges where the pyramid end kind of just hang off the picture!. I think it would be a lot more interesting if the pyramid was moreso jutting into the picture with its ends cut off than seeing the entire thing!. I think that would give it a more abstract quality!.

The wing of the Louvre coming in on the left side unbalances the picture, too!. The fountain isn't helping, either!. The trees in the garden behind the pyramid create a nice, flat horizon!. It's too bad that the wing and fountain interrupt that flow!.
