Question: Is graphic design a good major when trying to make a clothing line like famous stars and straps!?
I want to start my own clothing line!. more like famous stars and straps!. but not exactly the same!. soo i wanted to know what would be the best way to go since im gonna start college soon and i wanted to know if GRAPHIC DESIGN would be the best choice when trying to make my own clothing line!. because well what i want to do mostly is like "Hoodies, Tees, Tanktops" well stuff like that!. NOT DRESSES!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.im just asking what would be better and how to be successful with it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

sure!. It's probably the closest thing you can get without majoring in fashion design!. Actually, majoring in illustration would be just as advantageous!.
but it is entirely possible to get a fashion design degree as a man and design men's clothes!. I knew someone that did at a school, and he was even a straight guy!. But you should probably ask the school!.
The reason I'd say this is because if you major in fashion design they'll actually give you the real education of how to deal with that particular industry!. Your only other choice is to major in GD or Illo and take fashion business courses as your electives, if they'll let you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
