How to produce bokeh?

Question: How to produce bokeh!?

am using Canon EOS 400D!.!. do i need specific lenses or the camera already have program on it!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

use the lens at it longest, use an aperture of F2!.8 or 4 or so, have a subject in the foreground and focus on it - the BG will show bokeh

the mode/program i would use is manual, you can try portrait mode if you like auto
