Seriously, this list is LONG, and only other graphic & web designers can share my pain!. I don't think I can put everything on it!.

1) When salesmen, or anyone for that matter, even clients, say they have an "eye" for design!. No you don't, you don't have a degree and a great porfolio, and you aren't creative!. For the love of God, listen to my creative ideas and why I think they are best for your project, then we can work out your ideas and why they are crap!. Your ideas suck!.

2) If I say that I need your logo to use on your business cards, brochures, posters, etc!. Please, stop going online and right clicking on your website to get the logo!. That version of your logo is extremely low quality!. It sucks!. Any image on the web is VERY low quality and VERY pixelated!. When I say I need your logo, it means I need a high quality JPEG or vector version of your logo!. If you don't know, ask or research online!.

3) If you don't know how to email, surf the web, or burn a disc, for the love of all that is holy!.!.!. get away from me, I don't want to do business with a chimp!. If you still want to be near me, ask when you don't understand and I'd be happy to explain in zombie language!.

4) Stop bugging me!. I work slower when I get interrupted!. If you have a deadline, stop calling and asking me "how's it going!?"

5) If you are my client, I guarantee you do not know any design programs!. Microsoft does not make any good design programs, AT ALL!. Publisher is not a design program, Powerpoint is not a design program, Word is not a design program, Frontpage is not a design program!. If you tell me your logo is in Word format, I will spit on you!. If you give me a brochure made in Publisher, I'm going to re-adjust it and recreate it in InDesign!.!.!. then I will spit on you!. Graphic Designers do not use the crappy programs you use to make an office flyer!.

6) Your sketches suck!. Stop doing them!.

7) I'm an expert on color, fonts, shapes, images, and digital art!. You are not!. So stop pretending!.

8) Understand that if you want a deal, you get what you pay for!. Even if you are a family member and want a family discount!. You are up the creek without a paddle if I happen to have a full paying client at the same time I'm working on your project!. Chances are, I'll put more effort into their project!. Don't try to pay cheaply for a brilliant design!. It won't happen!. Please continue to number 9!.

9) Stop expecting discounts for everyone!. If I happen to give you a deal, and you refer a friend because I have great pricing!.!.!. I may or may not choose to give them a discount!. I don't know them!. I'll think twice if your friend is a hot chick!.

10) Please, this is better for both of us!. Don't get upset at something you don't understand!. If you don't understand why printing full color is more expensive than 2 color, don't get mad!. If you want a dynamic backend on your website, it'll cost more!. If you don't know why it costs more, don't get upset, I'll explain it to you!. If you are still upset, I have Chuck Norris on speed dial!. Enough said!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not a graphic designer yet but one day I will be!. I hate that you can never cut something out exactly from Adobe Photoshop!. It is so hard!. And blending the pic into a new background!. I'm 15, so, I will keep learning!. I also have been learning about web design, which is pretty cool!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
