Depends on how large a piece, how many pieces and the ink coverage on each piece!.

A quart of a single color may be way too much for a tee shirt, as an example!. But 500 tee shirts may requre much more than five gallons!.

What are you trying to print!?

Depends on the item (fabric, paper, golf balls!?), how many are being printed, how large the image is, and if the image is solid color or just lines (like a drawing or words)!.

A couple of ounces will easily do one color for, say, a ten-inch design on the front of a t-shirt for half a dozen shirts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
