Acid rain to save us all!?

Sorry, doesn't sound like smart idea to me!. We spent years trying to get sulfur out of the atmosphere to prevent acid rain, reintroducing it in a grand style will not be a good idea!. I doubt we could keep it to the stratosphere only!. It will be slower doing damage than if it's closer to ground, but fighting pollution with pollution does not sound like the best idea!.
