I am trying to sell my paintings on ebay===and I am just starting out!. Can I get any feedback or advice as to what you think about them as well as if you would be interested in something like this!?

Julie, instead of giving you more of the same praise I'm sure you're used to getting I'll give you some serious advice about selling your paintings on E-Bay or elsewhere:

Raise the opening bid price! And maintain a higher reserve price!

First off, if you ended up selling this paintings at only your opening bid you would end up losing money!. The sale wouldn't cover the cost of the canvas, paint and time put into it!. Plus the shipping!.

Second, there are a lot of people who are basically insecure about art and it's real value, especially when dealing with more abstract art!. If you're asking $50!.00 for an original painting there are many who calculate in their own mindset that that's all the painting is worth!. (Remember, you can buy framed, large-sized 'original' paintings at K-Mart and Wal-Mart for $29!.95 to $49,95!.) And you'll find this type of buyer simply looking for some cheap decorative object to cover their living room wall so they will think their friends will think they are cultured!.

Third: By charging more, by raising the original bid price and keeping the reserve price higher, only more serious art buyers and collectors will bother to bid on your art!. And one of the wonderful things about these types willing to pay more for art is that they are buying a work of art because they love the work and these types will take very good care of the art work they buy!. These types don't just buy art to decorate their walls!.

also think about placing some of your art on Saatchi On-Line!. It's free to do so and Saatchi is a respectable, known dealer and collector!. And Saatchi On-Line doesn't charge a % if you sell your art!. You keep all the money yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I loathe abstract art when people try to pass it off as deep and meaningful, but you seem to have a very good grasp on a respectful purpose for it to serve it (decor) and in that sense, I think it's great!. It's exciting to look at, and I think it would definitely look lovely in a frequented area like in those pics on your ebay page!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I will start by saying that my favourite style is realism and namely the Dutch Baroque!.
So, quite far from your style :-)
But I don't think that a style has more valuable than others, it's just my personal taste!.
Now, I like the presented work and consider it a good purchase!.
Have you also tried selling at Etsy !?
I'm interested in knowing how you placed your work in those environments and where did you get those photos!.
Is there a site for that kind of function !? i!.e!. to show how an artwork fits in place !?
