Question: Blowing up pictures!?
Is there any other way you can "blow up" photographs without taking them to a photo shop!?

If there is no way but to take them to the shop, how much do you think it would cost to blow up about nine pictures!?

Thank you in advance!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I use a program online that prints my pictures and mails them to me!. I scan/download the picture I want to enlarge, and change the size in photoshop!. I can then email it to Clark Photo Labs!. You can change the size online!.

Locally, in stores such as CVS, Walgreens, and some WalMarts, there are photo printer sections!. Either download or scan your photo into their system, then choose resolution!. The great part about the store photo labs, is you can adjust things such as red eye, lighting, and proportions!. These things are difficult to do at home without a program such as photoshop!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is not enough detail in your question for a good answer!.

How much do you want to "blow up" to!? What size do you want the final prints to be!?

What are you starting from!? A film negative!? If so what size negative!.!.!. 35mm, medium format, large format etc!.

Are you wanting to enlarge a digital file!? What size and resolution is your original!?

There are many programs that will increase the size of a digital file, but there is a limit to how far you can go depending on original size and resolution!.

Photos certainly do NOT have to be taken to any kind of photo store to be enlarged, but since you are here asking this question, YOU will most likely have to do it that way since you obviously do not have the knowledge / equipment to do it yourself!.

Many online printing services, such as

http://www!.mpix!.com

will automatically upsize a photo IF it is not too small to begin with!.

If you supply more specific information I can give you a much better answer!.

one way would be to enlarge the picture on the computer, whatever program and then print it out as three or four tiles, paste them together on a larger board with spray adhesive!.
such as a 8 1/2 by 11 picture could be enlarged with four 8 1/2 by 11 pieces of paper making it about 26 by 44!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
