One of the best drawing pens I ever had was made from a well seasoned (dry) length of one inch bamboo!.

I carved one end to a fairly sharp tip and then split it and drilled a small hole near the end!. I used it by dipping into an ordinairy bottle of india ink!. The hole made a nice little resevoir for the ink, and the split tip allowed for some line variation!. I used it for many years until I lost it in a move!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
