Question: Are there any modern day artists that show promise of being like DaVinci, Monet, Picasso!?

oh geez please don't listen to the first answerer, because Bob Ross is terrible!. He could do ok representational scenes but that was it!. But those artists you mentioned above were the founders of movements, DaVinci was the Renaisanse painter who was the first to really emphesize perfect proportion and mathmatics in art!. Monet was a founding member of Impressionism, which was a form of art where the painter would paint what he sees in front of him, not what he thinks is supposed to be there!. Then Picasso was the founder of so many -isms, but we could say that he was a major player in the triumph of modern art!.

Now, there are some painters out there now who are creating new isms, like Alex Gross with Pop Surrealism!. But you should really look into Contemporarty Chinese Art, because there is a major art movement developing to the east!. It is very exciting to watch it! Unfortunatly I can't remember any of the artists names from China!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's P!. BUckley Moss, not BEckley, and Kinkaide is a patehtic hack!. There are no more DaVincis, Monets or Picassos anymore than there are new Mozarts, Bachs or Beethovens!. You can't top perfection!.
