This is what I found and this is what I guess!. In 1798 Romney painted the portrait of Mary MacDonell Chichester, Lady Clifford Constable see http://www!.artfund!.org/artwork/9791/mary!.!.!.
If you compare this face (dont look at their hairstyles) with that of Miss Constable - there is a strong similarity in their coloration of skin and appearance!. Now Miss Constable - was painted 11 years (1787) before Romney painted Mary MacDonell!.!.!.!.!.!. my guess is that this is either the same lady (when she was much younger) or else a young lady who married into the Constable family -
The story of this family and their move to Burton Constable Hall in 1821 and the fact there was once a collection of Constable family portraits there seems to strengthen this suggestion!. See text under pic!. of MacDonell at the site I have given!.

I had a search around and there is noting I can see as to her identity, a picture is on the link!.

Found the answer-About 1781-1782 he met Emma Hart (later Lady Hamilton), who exercised a morbid fascination over him!. For Romney she became a means of escape into an imaginary, ideal world!. His "divine Emma" appears in more than 50 paintings, in guises ranging from a bacchante to Joan of Arc!. Almost all were painted from memory!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
