Edgar Degas' The Absinthe Drinker!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Picasso had his famous blue phase!. During that period he was serverly depressed about inadvertantly causing his best friend's sucide and his residual sadness about the death of his younger sister!. He produced loads of work during that period!. Shouldn't be too hard to find!.

It is the best example of sadness through art I can think of!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
