Composition- the dynamacy of the image!. What is the main focus and how are the elements in the image helping your eye move around the picture!. also look up the Golden Section!.

Line-the line weight, varying lines and subtly of line matters in a paintnig or drawing!. Are the lines active!? Do the have engery or some kind of emotion tied to them!? You can always tell the artist's personality by their line quality!.

Tone-the general feeling of the image!. Ie-if the painting is all cool colors, it will give off a sad tone!. If it has warmer colors it will have a happier or more intense feeling!.

Texture-could be anything!. Could be the texture of the paint and canvas, like Van Gogh's work, with heavy paint and lots of peaks, or it could mean the texture of the images themselves, such as skin versus a brick wall or carpet!. It makes the image interesting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
