What can I paint?

Question: What can I paint!?

i'm 16 and i would say quite good at art!. I want to paint a picture on canvas for my grandma!. but i have no idea what to paint!. she is typical grandma!. any ideas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Paint a landscape or maybe something she likes!. Or your family!. I painted a picture of an albatross (a sea bird) for my grandma because she loves birds and lives by the sea, and I painted a Pennsylvannia Railroad train because he is obsessed with trains and used to work for the Pennsylvania Railroad!. Picture some kind of art in your mind & sketch it with a pencil on the canvas!.You don't have to be perfect!.Then get the colors you're going to use & paint away!.If you don't feel it's grandma's style,you'd be surprised that most grandmother's will always keep family gifts & heirlooms regardless what it looks like!.Just put your heart in it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

still life: an object she is fond of!? some nice flowers etc!?
some of her favourite pastimes (eg dancing)
some of her favourite places (eg!. the beach, a holiday house, the country)
a scene of your family all together doing somethign together/at a place you love!.

landscapes are a traditional idea!. like a garden or something!. or you could go with a georgia o'keefe-esque type flower painting of some sort!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
