If you have a Mac there's a built-in application called automater which allows you to build a number of scripts, one of which can be a renamer, it's useful!.

Just yesterday I renamed over 200 images to BW-01, BW-02, etc!. and changed the format to JPG aswell as reducing the size of them in literally 2 minutes :PWww@QuestionHome@Com

The free download irfanview!.com allows batch changing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, I agree with the above answers!. also, Batch work is possible in photoshop (you can download a trial version)!.

In Photoshop, this is how it can be done:

Open one of the photos, go to "window" in the menu bar and click on "actions" panel!. Once the panel opens, look at the bottom part of this panel!. If you click on the folder icon, you are starting your set of commands!. Now if you press the red circle "record" icon, can record the action you want to apply to all the files!. Once you are done, press the stop icon and voila!

Now you have the commands ready!. All you need to do is open all the files (select them all at once and click open)!. Press play!. You may need to press play on each file but I dont think this will take more than five minutes!.!. granted you have a good computer!.

If you are not a photoshop person this may sound complicated but it really isnt!. When you record your actions, you can see them in detail when you click the little arrow to the right of the command name!.

I hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com
