Question: Got any tips on some angles to use when photographing people (specifically bands)!?
I'm an amature band photographer, and i realize that sometimes my promos can look a little boring, because there isn't a whole lot you can do to the subject of the photo!. So i try to switch it up by trying different angles!. But most of the girls in the bands that I shoot complain that the angles of the pictures are "unflattering!."
Do you have any tips for when experimenting with angles!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't recommend shooting up on everyone!. That can be VERY unflattering on someone that is a little heavier!. Check out Charles Peterson at http://www!.charlespeterson!.net/ He's the amazing band photog that shot Nirvana!. Look at his work for inspiration!. I did!. But it all depends on what type of music you're shooting for!. Just try new stuff! Happy shooting!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Women look best when shot at a slightly downward angle!. So If possible find a way to shoot them from above!. This may not be possible if you are shooting live venue shots but if you have an opportunity to shoot their rehersal then do it then!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Shoot them from above, maybe bring a step ladder!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Errmm Maybe try something like pointing the camera up at them from the floor!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
