Georgia O'Keeffe lived from 1887-1996!. She was a prominent American artist who lived an unusual lifestyle!. She was accused of being a witch because she wore black all the time!. She lived most of her life in New Mexico where she enjoyed painting skulls (cow) and desert flowers!. She did not have many women friends, but she liked the men!. She liked to go out to eat, but enjoyed cooking !. She was a health freak before it was popular to be one!. I would consider her to be a surrealist!. Others who lived during her time period were Mary Cassatt (1845-1926)!. She was an Impressionist!. William H!. Johnson was born in 1901 and died 1970!. He painted mostly modern African-American things!. Andy Worhol (1928-1987)!. He was known as a contemporary pop artist!. All of these are American artists!. There are lots more during this time period from other countries!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
