Uploading pictures onto the internet?

Question: Uploading pictures onto the internet!?

Don't you hate it when you take a beautiful picture, upload it to the internet, but the color doesn't look the same as the original on your computer!?

I especially have this problem with portraits!. Their faces look fine in the original, but grey online!.

I hate it!.!.!. it really annoys me! How do you deal with this!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Make sure you are using sRGB color space!.

If you are using photoshop just go Edit > Assign profile > sRGB

Doing this will actually change the colors

If you don't want to change the colors go to Edit > Convert to profile > Under destination space, click the drop down menue and select sRGBWww@QuestionHome@Com

I don't get this because I only upload pictures to websites if I know what kind of quality they disaply!. If you use photoshop, you should change the image mode to RGB if it's for web and ZCMYK for print, that way you'll mostly get the right colours!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
