A horse race at night, and using an ISO of 400!. 800 had too much noise!. I was able to get some good shots, but not nearly as many as I wanted!. Another problem was the focus on my camera!. Point and Shoots don't have a good manual focus!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wasn't something that I *had* to photograph, but something I wanted to photograph!.!.!.
A butterfly!. I had to chase the thing around for ten minutes before it would land somewhere, and then right before I was about to press the shutter release button, it flew off again!. Now take that process, and repeat about 8 times!. I eventually just gave up because my camera battery died and my spare one was inside the house (I was out on my lawn)!. I think the butterfly was frustrating me on purpose!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Flying birds with a point and shoot with 3X zoom!. You have to get very close to the bird and then pan and shoot in a very short space of time!. Lucky the little thing (camera) is pretty fast so I got one usable shot!. I have to tell you I'll never try that again!. Animals in general, especially wild animals are difficult without the right equipment!. Children are also very difficult unless you follow them around for days!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the pow-wows!. there is so much going on and getting a good place that is not in someone's way where the little ones won't bump my tripod!.!.!.
and the critters---the birds and foxes and critters around here!.!.!. i want to shoot them like one or two of our friends can shoot them!.
