open image, adjust threshold to b&w, create new layer, select regions with lasso tool to color, apply choice of color, and repeat for next color,

If it was me, I would put the black and white art on a seperate layer (copy, paste)!. Select "multiply" for that layer--then just paint underneath it on the layer below it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
