Question: Surfing Photography - Famous photographers!?

Hey all

Does anyone know where surfing photography started and if anyone knows of any surfing photography greats!?

I would be very grateful as I have to start writing a long essay on this, as a non-surfer it isn't easy!.

if you can, run to a local supermarket and look in the first few pages of some surf magazines and you will be able to find the names of the photographers they have working for them!. That will help you out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
