It started with great lighting and skill at the camera!. As for the editing, there seems to have been a bit of a boost in contrast (probably on its on layer) and a boost in saturation!. I would not be surprised to find that there was a pretty translucent "high pass" filter layer on this, as well!. For steps, you create a duplicate layer and use an "s-curve" in curves to boost the contrast!. Adjust the opacity of this layer until you like the results!. Next (on the background layer), use the hue and saturation utility to boost the color up a bit!. You could also use the channel mixer to be a bit more precise and selective in this step!. Flatten the image!. Now create another layer!. Run the high pass filter on this (go easy on this step)!. Adjust opacity of the layer until you like the result!. Flatten the image!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The picture was retouched on the face with the contrast tool!. If you look carefully, it doesnt look natural!. I have done enough in magazines to knwo what is natural and what is not!. The photographer used good lighting but take a closer look at the face!. You go into Edit photos and scroll through your options!. It's addicting!.
