If you have Photoshop,
File >> Save For WebWww@QuestionHome@Com

The simplest way would be to increase the compression you can do this by saving it under a different file name!. When you save you will be able to change how much the image is compressed!.

The other very easy way to do this is to email the file to yourself!. Your computer will ask you if you want to shrink the file for email!. Just select yes!. When you get the email just open it up and save it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you want a smaller file, save it with more compression!. I mean, save it at a quality level of 4 or 5 instead of 10 or 12!.

You can also resize it to a lower ppi, but that would also make the picture smaller on your screen!. If it's for a website, that might not be a bad thing, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Download IrfanView -- a free program!.

It can do this in a jiffy, plus about a million other useful things!.

Save as > jpg compression > move the slider!.
