Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If you use a sheet or shower curtain try to stretch the wrinkles out they are a real pain to get rid of in Photoshop, I use those plastic spring clips used by woodworkers which are cheap, to clip the sheet to a simple frame!. Another trick is to leave as large a space as possible between the subject and background and use a wide aperture (small f number) this limits the depth of field so the background gets thrown way out of focus which can also help, but your focusing will need to be spot on!.
