Jose kinda took my answer but he didn't mention Rembrandt!.!.!.definitely Baroque!.!.1600's Dutch, Spanish and Italian!.!.!.Caravaggio, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Pieter claesz and Zurbaran!. It's when the lighting in painting became so dramatic and painting was at it's height!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Impressionist era and the Classical age of Greek art!. The impressionists put an end to the Renaissance and the Classical period of our art history only lasted for a mere fifty years!. Thousands of years of visual arts and the best we had; the greatest ever developed only lasted for a mere five decades!. After that it just ran headlong into the Hellenistic works and lost it's true wonder and beauty!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
