I would take a sheet to a local paper distributor!. Not Kinko's or Office Depot, a legitimate paper company!. Call a local print shop and ask them where they buy their paper from!. We sell thick textured paper at a fraction of that cost!.
Ex!. Strathmore Grandee 23" x 35" cover at around $1!.50 a sheet!. Take a sample to one of those paper specific stores and ask what they have thats close!. They should have lots of swatchbooks to order from!. If you live a medium to larger city their should be several of these companies around!. Now it may not be true art design paper, but you may find something close!.

PS; I have actually sold paper to Jerry's Art-o-rama!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm guessing you don't have the equipment to make heavy paper!. Even to make a regular weight handmade paper you need a lot of room for the simple equipment like screens, blender, sink, etc!.!.!. just to let the paper air dry!.!.!.

I'd think that the time it would take you to make yor own paper would override any savings of money or time!.!.

I like the idea tho!.!.!.

You can always look for papermaking books at a local library or on one of the online retailers like amazon!.com

Good Luck!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
