Question: How do you make a blurry picture sharp!?

I have a science project I need to do, which includes having to design a poster board!. I have to include pictures and statistics!. I just downloaded some pictures off the internet!. One is a black and white picture with text on it, but it gets extremely blurry when I expand it!. It needs to be big because it has to be posted on poster board, and students in the back of the room need to be able to see it!. Is there a way that I can make the picture more clear!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you have access to Photoshop or some other program, or if not you can download Picasa from google (picasa!.google!.com), play with the contrast and bright/dark controls!. Sometimes it also helps if you put it in a different shade (i!.e!. switch it from b/w to sepia or orange or whatever)!.
Of course you can only do so much, but these will usually help sharpen it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can't!. A low resolution picture will produce a very blurry enlargement!.

If you contact the person the picture belongs to and explain why you need it, they might allow you to buy a high resolution version suitable for your needs!.

you have to start out with a sharp image!.!.!.photoshop can't make a bad image good!.
hold the camera steady or use a tripod when shooting!.!.!.
