How much will it cost to be signed to a modeling agency?

Question: How much will it cost to be signed to a modeling agency!?

I want to be a model sooo bad and i know that to get started i will need headshots and stuff like that and my parents have a friend who is a photographer but the problem is they dont want to spend a lot of money for me to be signed to an agency but they dont know how much it will cost!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i will answer this as simple as possible!. my 19 y/o daughter has been modeling for 8 years and is now signed to Ford!.

this is what we have learned:
yes, the head shots cost a bit!.
after that, you need pay nothing!.
if someone wants you, they will pay you!.
if someone want you to pay ANYTHING, then they are full of S#!t and are just trying to make a buck!. think about it, you know how much money these agencies make; why would the charge the model anything!? the real ones DON'T!

this is how my daughter did it, just drop off portfolios EVERYWHERE! when/if the call you, then they will be the ones ready to put the money on the table!.

Um the agency should not cost you anything!.!.!. they take a percentage of the koney you make when you book a job!.!. um the only overhead you will have is the photography which consists of a portfolio of shots and a Zed card which is like a headshot only it has 3 photos on the 8X10 paper and your measurements and such!. You may want to find a good agency before you take the shots that way you can put their contact info on your ZED cards as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Any good agency shouldn't charge you to sign for them, but they will find you work and take a commission!. Anyone who asks you to pay them money front is probably not legitimate!. Good luck with your modelling! XxWww@QuestionHome@Com

That would be a scam!

Go to a shoot for alittle money and if they like you they will sign you!.
