How to become a photographer?

Question: How to become a photographer!?

Everyone's always telling me my photographs look professional, that I should be a photographer, and that I have an eye for pictures, etc, etc!. So, how do you get to be a photographer!? Is there a process, or special schooling!.!.!. or can you just submit photos to a website or magazine and hold your breath!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

As above but I am interested in the 'everyone' that you refer to!. Who are you showing your work to!? Why haven't you shown some here via a link!? Shy!?
You get to be a photographer by taking a camera and taking photographs!. It's as simple as that!. What you really mean is - how does one become a professional!? Mmmm - a whole different story!.
