Question: Why where all my pictures underexsposed!?!?!!?
I was at a party and the lights were dim!. I had my Nikon n80 set to Aperture priority mode!. Attached to it was an Sb-600 in TTLBL Mode!.
I had fuji pro800z loaded aswell!.
However, when I lifted the the viewfinder up to my eye, the camera said I was under exposed by several stops (+ |!.!.!.!. -) regardless of the fact that my 50mm lens was set to 1!.8 or smaller!.
I changed settings!. slow sync, front curtain, compensation!.!.!.All unacceptable!.

There where two other photographers there, one was a mother with a cannon xti and the other was a masterful pro with what I expect to be a 5D or similar!. Both had cannon speedlights!. They were running around like a wolves; attacking at every angle, bouncing off all surfaces!. Without hesitation!. Im almost sure that they where using zooms!. There was no way their lenes were as fast as mine( even the pro with his red ringed L-Glass)!.

How were they still taking pictures!. They should have been underexposed as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is possible to take flash pictures with the built in flash of the D70 in a room with the lights out!. I know!. I've tried it!.

If you don't have your pictures yet, how do you know they are underexposed!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why did you fiddle with you camera's settings!?

I just leave mine at Program mode (in RAW format!.)

I usually get acceptable exposure on most of my flash photos!.

Firstly, you didn't corrected the white balance by using Expodisc White Balance Filter!.Secondly, didn't matter what shutter speed you have used, try to use Normal Exposure Mode,so that it will give a best qualities of the images!.Thirdly, maybe your camera's sensor faulty will also cause this problem too!.send for a repair servicing centre for help!.Good Luck to you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
