ok im in year 11 art and i have no idea what a medium is!.!.!.help please!><
an eg is there is this piece of art and it is just a pile of wood, what would be the medium used there, would it be wood!?or is there no medium used!?

A medium is what is used in the making of the artwork!. For example, if you have a work where the person used acrylic paint on a canvas, the media would be acrylic on canvas!.

So here, if only wood was used, the medium would be wood!. If the piece of art was the wood itself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a medium is the type of instrument(s) you use to create a work of art ie- pencil, pen & ink, charcoal, conté, oils, acrylics, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
