There are probably very few if any!. At that time the statue was dedicated, photography was not a very developed technology!. If you are looking for ones where she is shiny like a penny, you won't find any!. As all the photos of the time were black and white!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Statues made with copper, either alone or in alloy (mixture) with other metals, turn green in a process called oxidizing!. This is similar to the way iron or steel get rusty when they come in contact with moisture!.

Copper turns greenish when it oxidizes!. She would originally have been the color of a penny!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, she wasn't always green!. She is made of copper, which turns green as a chemichal reaction to the weather!. Sorry, i don't know where you can find pics that old!.

Factiods:
-She was a gift from france
-They have to replace pieces every couple of years so it doesn't fall apart!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
