My equipment costs have more than quadrupled since the introduction of digital images!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I love travelling and travel a lot yes, you do get great views and stuff i got this picture of my pet bird Pearl ona tree branchand you can even see the morning dew on the leaves it was sooo pretty!. If you're good, you get paid well!. Taking up photography seriously can be expensive so thats why people charge more!. i do not charge, but usually when I do a photoshoot somebody will buy me something in return like a filter or something!. It may or may not involve lot of travelling!. Nature and landscape photographers do have to travel a lot, but not everyone!. If you have the talent you can capture daily-life things into amazing shots, like graphic n texture photographers do!. It pays well if you take it up seriously but the equipment cost is to take note of!. Then after years of doing it, I hated it!. Thats why I have so few photo's of my son when he was young, the last thing I wanted to do is take a photo for pleasure!. That is one of the reasons Auto mechanics, their cars are not tuned up Gardner's, their gardens are full of weeds!. Newspaper reporters, rarely write books Etc, etc, etc!. It took me a decade of no shooting to get my love for photography back!. I may shoot some as a pro, but for the most part, it is my passion and I never want to lose that again!.
