Google has an great program (Picasa) with a great price -- FREE!.
I use Photoshop but I still use and love Picasa! I recommended it to everyone -- no matter what your level of skill!.
And best of all -- the original file is never changes and so is always safe!

Different cameras have different types of RAW files -- try Picasa for free!Www@QuestionHome@Com

you'll need a program to open them

"The Unidentified Flying Raw (UFRaw) is a utility to read and manipulate raw images from digital cameras!. It can be used on its own or as a Gimp plug-in!."

"The GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) does most of what Photoshop does; the Gimpshop project (plasticbugs!.com) even makes it look like Photoshop!."

RAW files require special image editors to open them!. They're meant for experienced photographers who know how to use the advanced versatility they offer!. TheGimp should be able to open the ones you already have, but in the future, I'd recommend against taking RAW photos!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
