putting the "#1" says this is a homework question, But it's something that I'm interested in so I'll give you some sort of answer!.

I think this all goes back to an Oscar Wilde piece about whether art imitates life, or life imitates art!. The great example he uses is the London fog!. Before impressionists started to paint the fog everyone complained about how miserable it was, but once people saw paintings of the London fog in galleries, people started to enjoy watching the London fog!. The egg lays the chicken!

I think fractals fall very well into this kind of thinking!.
Try to rephrase the question in the obverse: How do natural forms imitate fractals!? or perhaps: why do fractals accurately describe many natural forms!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
