I keep the lens I use the most on my camera!. There is no should like there is with you 'should' remove the battery when storing the camera!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, why would you want to do that!? If you notice the pros around you at any event, they keep lenses attached to their camera bodies!. This is for two reasons!. First they need to be ready to shoot at anytime !.!. the time lost re-attaching a lens to the camera can mean missed shots and second, keeping the lens on the camera helps keep dust out of the cameraWww@QuestionHome@Com

I always keep one lens on my camera!.!.!. the one I use the most!.!.!. and store the rest of them with both caps on in my camera bag!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Removing the lens to store it just adds wear and tear to the mounts!. It is better to keep a lens on your body during storage!. Especially with a digital SLR!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I keep mine on and a mate doesent!.!.!.
he has had to take his camera in to get repaired 2x and i think it has to do with the care he took with his camera!.!. although he thought he was doing the right thing!.!.!. so leave it on!Www@QuestionHome@Com
