Nice to hear it

You can contact a color pencil company but do not show it to them until the deal is done

GOOD LUCKWww@QuestionHome@Com

you can't call a colour "Cake" - there are so many different shades LOLWww@QuestionHome@Com

You can have invented a new colour!. The world of science has showed us each and every colour, made up of an infinate number of differnet combinations, so to say you have invented a new colour is a bit far feachedWww@QuestionHome@Com

so what would it be called!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You haven't invented a new colour!. Your computer screen can generate 64 million of them or something!. So it's unlikely you've found the 64 millionth and one!.

Alas!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wouldn't have thought it would be a new colour!.
Aren't all colours made from the 3 primary colours (blue, red and yellow)!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you invented it you can put a patent on it!. Look up putting a patent on a color, prepare to spend a lot of money though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

guiness book of records might help ya!.!.!.!.lolzWww@QuestionHome@Com

Sorry, it's impossible to "invent" a new colour!. All colours have already been discovered!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

pretty sweet!. contact crayola or something and make it a crayon :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Seriously if you had invented a new colour (so so so unlikely because of the millions of colours that have been previously shown to us) it would have taken place in a laboratory using pigmented chemicals, not at home with your watercolour paint set!. Thus it would have already been in the news, because it's a pretty big deal (remember how crazy the world went for "mauve" lol) so I'm gonna go ahead and guess that your brand new shiny colour won't be making you any money any time soon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

there is nothin stopping you naming a colour something!.!. nut you will not have invented a new colour!.!. just a new name!.

ther are lots of names eg Prussian Blue, Carmine, Scarlet, British Racing Green!.
but those are descriptions not th actual colour itself!.

when mixing paints there is an ISO standard that doctates how good the colour rendtion is!. a standard colour like 'Magnolia' may veyr bey ( I think its 10% of each constituent dye) so brand A's magnolia may not be hte same as brand B magnolia!.

most printers use the Panotone system as a way of colour matching!.!. Pantone precisely specifies the amount of each constituent colour to render the final colour!.!. agian some Pantone colours have names, but the make up of the final colour is tightly controlled!.

unless you have invented a new process for recreating colour (such as the CMYK process, Pantone or colour subtraction), then you won't have created a new colour!.!. these all describe different ways of representing a colour!.!. some are aimed at printers, some are aimed at screens, file or projectorsWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think you mean that you have blended a new shade of a colour!. There must be infinite shades to discover!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

this is a very unconvincing wind-upWww@QuestionHome@Com
