i love to paint in my free time. [if only i had more free time] ha. umm, the favorite thing ive ever painted was a portrait of john lennon on a 4ft canvas with acrylic paint.

i love 2 paint , well the most creative thing i painted was a picture of flowers in a vase that had a beach and a sunset on it ,it looked pretty good to me = D

I love to paint in watercolor. The most creative thing I have painted is an old barn sitting on a hill. I wasn't very good at mixing colors and it has some turquoise and purple for the barn colors (brown too) and it really came out neat looking.

Michaelangelo said that his life would have been much simpler and easier if his father had been a maker of matches - i.e. if Michaelangelo's family business had been making matches for a living he believed that he would have experienced less torment in his life. I make my living painting portraits. When it's going well it's wonderful. When it's not going well it seems like a curse and I wish I could be happy selling real estate or cleaning teeth or keeping books for some company somewhere. Another quote: "art is a jealous mistress"... it dominates and demands and affects your whole life and all of your personal relationships. It's a blessing and a huge curse. The most interesting thing that I paint is PEOPLE. I do portraits and I feel like I am capturing souls for future generations. That is a good thing. It is an obsession and a trial and a joy and a REAL challenge. Sometimes I am so proud of myself and sometimes I feel like a ridiculous fraud.

I do, I do! I don't complete many...one of my problems..., but I've redone over and over and over a painting of a tree on a 4 ft canvas...I think it's neat, but still not finished!! :-)

I love painting...when I can find the time! The most interesting thing I have ever painted is...a night scene of the a lighthouse with the ocean in the background. That was so challenging and fun. The colors have to be just right or it will look weird. I would love to paint another night scene.

I do a surrealistic style of painting, I also do a style I call humorist food painting, I dapple in Oils, Acrylics, Goats milk, Egg Tempura, Water color, Inks, pen and pencil, and colored pencils and mixed medias, I even use the bare canvas as part of the media, I love to restore art and teach art, I do not have a degree and do not need one, I am my own worst critic. Melancholy gets me some times down. My favorite subjects are nature, animals, birds, flowers, landscapes, I love to paint moutaineer and 1700 pioneer wild scenes, gold minners, trappers, Indians and the old places. The most interesting painting I have done is A standing snarling grizzely bear looking down at a suprised pioneer trapper cooking salmon fish in a pan by a camp fire.

I love painting and the most interesting thing I have painted is graffiti with acrylic on board. Great fun and very energetic.
