Is it just me, or do I not look like what I see in the mirrior in my pictures?

Question:Im having a problem with the way my Sidekick 3 phone takes my pictures. I dont know if its the lighting in the rooms I take it in or what, but for some reason it just doesn't capture what I see when I look in the mirror. Do you guys think it may be the lighting? The quality of the camera? Also...do you guys think a professional photoshoot would solve my problems? Because im trying to put together a portfolio for modeling. Thanks.

same for me too i look diff as well, then in mirror and on pictures. Means yea do a photoshoot for real thats what you need if you want a portfolio. Its all about the quality of the camera!!!

Same for me, I look different in a mirror then on a photograph.

Of course you do not look the same as you do in a mirror. The mirror is a REFLECTION of you. You see a REVERSED image of yourself. A photograph is an actual depiction of you. It sees you as you actually look to others, there is no reversal of the image involved. So when you look at a photo of yourself, you see the REAL you, not a backward reflection.

Well you are doing it off a Mirror, it reflects light, it's bound to change the image up just a teeny bit. But honestly, you're doing a portfolio, and you're using your Kick??
