Graffiti: art or crime?

In my view to some its an expression of emotions, that unveil themselves in the form of art. then to others its a anger vent and damaging public property is a shameless idea of expressing it.

I wouldn't call it either

Crime if it is done on someone else's property.........

I believe Graffiti is a form of art, I also believe that some people do it to let off steam not saying it makes it right when it is on someone elses property but I think there is a lot of meaning behind it....I also think they should have Graffiti Art Shows I know I would buy their artwork.

I would agree with Living Waters in that it is art. However, if you were to do it on my wall or fence I would feel quite justified in shooting your sorry butt for destroying my property.
Graffiti artist should find a canvas to paint on that does not include the destruction of personal or public properties

First,it might create life and hope to anyone passing by the wall,or may be with it's magnificent colors...That's art
Second,if it's on someone's property,that won't be legal,besides,not all people would like the painting,they might think the wall was clean and you added to it what spoilt the equilibrium of the place.So I may say it's a crime.
It depends on what's drown,like if it's obscene,it a crime for sure.beside where is it drown,like drawing a graffiti of Hitler on a church or a temple,that's another crime.

I think it is Both...coz some town's/city's dnt allow Graffiti...

Buht some do...and if they allow it is an art...
if not a crime...sort of...
