Photography problems..?

Question:I'm trying to get a photo to show in black and white with only one part in colour. (eg. Eyes.)
Does anybody know how to do this..?

You will need photo editing software but it doesn't have to be Photoshop (expensive). Here are a few software titles that I have used myself and will do the job in couple of different ways. Microsoft Digital Image editor, Photo Explosion, Picasa. None of these are more than 60 bucks. Picasa is a freeby from google but may not do all you need.

Do you have any kind of photo editing program such as Photoshop? Editing a photo this way requires using layers and keeping one layer in color and desaturating the rest of the photo to achieve the black and white layer. This whole process takes some time and requires outlining the area you want to keep in color.

You can probably google Photoshop tutorials and find step by step instructions on how to do this.

I can tell you the easiest way to do this in Photoshop... but this has really become overdone! Try to come up with something new that no one has ever seen before.

Start with a color image, make a duplicate layer, convert to black and white, then carefully use the eraser to erase the parts you want in color. Tada!
