And no, blue fire is the hottest flame, duh. Since you quoted that flames are made in all colors, I think it’s because black is the absent of colors A flame is often defined as the visible (light-emitting) part of a fire. Black is the color of objects that do not emit or reflect light in any part of the visible spectrum; they absorb all such frequencies of light. By theory its not possible to have a black flame. The "black" God has black fire! Black is the absence of light and fire is light! If we can site sightings in movies I have seen a black flame and it emitted no light. BUt it was in a Disney movie called "Hocus Pocus" with Bette Midler. Disney made it so the visuals are excellent and it looks real. Does that count? :-) Peace y'all black flame (if there is a such thing) wouldn't emit any light therefore it would have been pretty-much useless except heat. Because that would be too damn cool looking. Also: I don't think I've ever seen a grey or brown flame. |
