Question:i'm doing a visual potrayal of the essay "Chameleons and Codas" by Patricia Conrad. Its about the life of a girl growing up with deaf parents. Basically I'm doing a powerpoint presentation that portrays the essay with pictures and very few words. I need to chose a picture from the internet, or take a picture of something that will go with this line :

Only when my two worlds collided did my chameleon soul faulter...

then the line after that is:

how can one be two colours at once?

I was thinking that for the second line I would use a picture of a chameleon and photoshop in 2 different colours, but I dont know what to do for the first picture. any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I was thinking of an image where two things or people or even words face each other or are back to back and at the point of intersection they could mold together. I think words doing this would be effective also since your presentation is about communication. You could have each of them be a different color and then at the point of intersection merge to a blended color. The other image could emerge from them with a blended color – or two colors at once. In fact, I think stripes or dots of the two colors would fit the situation for the blended part and new image. You could also do this with a powerpoint funtion that would change the color from one to the other and then back again. This would indicate two colors at once.

I teach Photoshop and Powerpoint so I can also think of some other ways to do it with advanced Powerpoint only techniques, but a complete discussion of that here is a little prohibitive. However it would involve motion and the color feature.

Good luck in your quest.

How about a picture of an ear, half black & white half color.
