Question:as in you take the photo and straight away it pops up on the computer for you to view

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: as in you take the photo and straight away it pops up on the computer for you to view

my canon came with a program called remote capture. it allows me to plug my camera in a take photo and save it to the computer.

Very few photographers do this ... it is something that is used mostly by portrait photographers use.

Both Nikon and Canon have programs that will allow you to not only view the images after shooting, but to control the camera from the computer as well.

Just go to Nikonusa and Canonusa websites and search for the programs.

Both Nikon and Canon have DSLR's that have "live view" features on their newest cameras. Although there are only a few ways this feature would be of any benefit to a pro.
* Shooting through telescopes
* Shooting through microscopes
* Shooting high numbers of products in a studio without having to look through the viewfinder to position each product.

my canon came iwth software to do this
