A good basic skin tone is Cad. Red Light with Yellow Ochre. Then make various values with White. You can do shadow areas with Burnt umber, burnt sienna, and sometimes TINY amounts of Ultramarine Blue. For lips use the flesh tones with some Alizarin Crimson. Good luck. Portraits are a challenge, but very rewarding.
