Position:Home>Visual Arts> How do you put a photo in a locket?

Question:In addition to the above...

Cut out the shape on a piece of plain paper FIRST and keep going until you get that to fit right so you can use it as a template. Start by pressing the paper to the opening on the locket with your finger and this will make an outline of the shape you need. Some lockets have a bit of a lip to engage the picture and you will not need glue or anything. I'd avoid using glue if at all possible. The picture isn't going anywhere once you get it in there and the glue will mess it up over time.

walmart prints index prints.. usually those are small enough to put in a locket.

print picture at wallet or smaller size. Cut to shape of locket around the subject you want to insert and then dab just a small amount of glue to back side just enough to hold picture inside. Then insert it into the locket!
