Position:Home>Visual Arts> Green Screen and Photoshop?

Question:I've kind of figured out how to use the 'wand' on Adobe Photoshop to delete the green screen, but I was wondering if there was a more efficient way. There is still green attached to the photo's subject and I have to zoom in and erase it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, is brown a bad color to go with a green screen because the green tends to"stick" in my hair.... Thanks!

Use the Replace Color function - that's why you shoot on a GREEN screen, not just any color, because you can then select that color. Look up exact procedure in your help index under color, replacing.

Which version of Photoshop? CS2 andCS3 has the expand option in the Select>Modify>Expand menu (it's also available in the Refine Edge dialogue box too with CS3), just expand the selection by a couple of pixels and you should be fine.
