Took this for my father in law for his great appreciation for Catholic statues. I felt the deep blue sky added something extra to this otherwise common motif.

Any thoughts???

I find the background a bit too busy, a larger fstop would have served you better.

i like th epicture. the blue rosary is what stood out to me more than the sky. but it goes well with sky color. very good picture.

I am not religious, but I find Catholic idols and such very beautiful. You did a very nice job capturing a mood. It's serene and almost comforting.

I'm not Catholic, but I love your photo. The blues are very beautiful. My eyes kept going to her beads with her preying hands to her face, the whole time the blue background is like illuminating shadows of blue all over the statue, very nice !!!!
