Is their a tatoo artist that will put you to sleep while you get the tatoo?

Question:Okay hun, general anesthesia is NOT as simple as just going to sleep. When they put you under, they have to put you on a ventilator because the drugs you are given to make you "sleep" also make you stop breathing on your own.

General anesthesia is SERIOUS! They don't even put women to sleep when they have C-sections. No only are tattoo artists not qualified to administer general anesthesia, IT COULD KILL YOU.

Getting a tattoo does not hurt that bad, man up. Seriously, if it hurt THAT bad do you really think so many people would have them?

I've never heard of one... but don't worry, tattoos don't hurt that bad.

The pain is part of the experience and it's not that bad!

Probably not (or they'd be hard to find). Tattoo artists aren't qualified to sedate people in that way...and anesthesiologists are very expensive to have on the payroll for the occasional client who fears getting ink and would want to be put to sleep.

If you aren't man enough to handle the pain then you're not man enough to get the tattoo. ;)

Your missing the point. The pain is part of the ritual, as it were. A rite of passage. It changes you in some small way, and change is painful.

Getting ink is all about the pain.

Be a man and just sit and take it.
